Barber County Municipal Dockets
Municipal court docket access is not the same as district court CaseSearch. Medicine Lodge Municipal Court is held at City Hall, with the judge in office the second and fourth Monday at 5:00 p.m. The city page gives a municipal court cost of $108 and directs questions about fines and fees to City Hall. Kiowa Municipal Court sits in the Council Chamber at the City Office and is held every fourth Thursday, with arraignments at 10:00 a.m. City citations can be paid at the front desk when eligible.
A person looking for a Barber County court docket should read the citation or notice before searching. If the paper names Medicine Lodge or Kiowa Municipal Court, the city court is the first docket source. Restricted Barber County Dockets
Public docket access has limits. It also says juvenile offender, domestic, guardianship, and guardianship or conservatorship documents are not available through the web public portal. K.S.A. 45-230 restricts prohibited commercial use of lists of names and addresses obtained from public records.
